dsvu (DeepSeek-Powered Video Understanding), a low-cost video understanding tool: Bilibili links/BV/local videos → information layer (ASR + scenes + object trajectories + YOLO) → summaries + Q&A. Based on same-source instant viewing and answering with deepseek-v4-flash-vision-exp + dense grid frame sampling. Question-driven dynamic routing across levels (L0/L1/L2), semantic-layer reuse, and budget caps. Uses a Python engine: the core layer requires faster-whisper / opencv / yt-dlp (approximately 200–300MB); the optional semantic layer requires an additional approximately 2GB.
Compatibility and provenance
Dsvu is published as @svenyu/dsvu and currently resolves to version 0.6.9. The Hub verifies its manifest and preserves the exact installation source for reproducible installs.
