Description

DeepSeek Harness (DSH) bundle plugin: before the model reads Office / PDF files in the workspace, it automatically converts them to Markdown using Microsoft MarkItDown. The converted result is written beside the source file, so only a .md path enters the context. The output is preserved in full, never truncated, while also returning byte count, line count, token estimate, and a heading structure index, along with a reading strategy of “inspect the structure first, then use grep to locate content”; supports batch-converting multiple files or an entire directory in a single call. The built-in settings page can check the local Python environment, configure or uninstall MarkItDown with one click as needed, and directly test-convert a file to confirm that the conversion pipeline works. When uninstalling this plugin in DSH, it will also clean up the Python environment it has recorded.
