Project Development Rules: DSH is an open-source plugin (MIT), available for everyone to use, learn from, and research. It provides a “Development Rules” panel in the right sidebar of the Web GUI (alongside “Docker Containers”), with global rules and per-project overrides. The rules currently in effect for each project are automatically injected into every session’s system prompt, so agents follow them when developing the project. It also includes the ian_rules tool for managing rules directly in conversations.
Compatibility and provenance
Ian Rules is published as dsh-ian-rules and currently resolves to version 26.10.6-6. The Hub verifies its manifest and preserves the exact installation source for reproducible installs.
