DSH host plugin: gives the model a restart_dsh tool — writes a restart marker and uses WMI to launch a driver script detached from the dsh process tree, kills the current dsh, then has a resident watchdog start a new process; the new process uses sessionController to restore the original session and inject the fixed text “dsh restarted, continue” to resume the conversation. Before restarting, it also optionally uses slHandoff (provided by dsh-host-sl) to flush the other party’s active worksheets to the latest state. Restarts are never rejected — when another session is detected to be running, the session that will be interrupted is truthfully listed only in the logs and returned text (since 2026-09-28). Since v0.4.2, the plugin and dsh-host-sl’s 【sl handoff and resume】 are combined into a single injection: when taking over a handoff record, this plugin does not inject its own message, with a fallback recheck after 10 seconds (2026-09-29). Since v0.6.0, **Electron desktop support** has been added — identity checks changed from profile/port to pid+exe path, and the launch method changed from “watchdog handoff” to “kill the entire process tree with the same exe + cold-start the application” (2026-09-30). Since v0.5.0, the tool **has no parameters** — the note parameter was removed, the injected text is fixed as “dsh restarted, continue,” and callers can no longer change the injected content (2026-09-29). Since v0.7.0, **the manual `/restart` command has been added** — it shares the same execution body, performRestart (session validation/session detection/handoff saving/marker writing/script launch do not diverge by a single byte), differing only in the failure-message prefix and who the success message is addressed to; users can type the command directly into the input box to restart without going through the model (2026-10-03).
